We believe that a therapeutic relationship rooted in respect, transparency, curiosity, and kindness creates a safe and supportive space for clients to explore, grow, heal, and find hope.
Honoring Our History
The name of our practice, Legacy Mental Health Center, is a nod to those transformative people in our histories who teach, through word and example, what is best about humanity. Their compassion, intelligence, altruism, humility, and humor create pathways to self acceptance and growth for so many who cross paths with them.
You’ll notice that our practice site prominently displays various works of art, and an equine theme is present in many of the pieces. The symbol of a horse acknowledges the role that one transformative individual played in the life of our practice’s founder. Known for his quiet intelligence, humor, and deep empathy, this humble man altered the lives of those around him. Interestingly, he utilized many of the same traits in his lifelong work of gentling horses and was well regarded for his intuitive understanding of equine psychology.
We believe that the best way to acknowledge and honor the transformative people in our lives is to carry their lessons forward.

We are seeking full and/or part-time licensed therapists (LP, LMFT, LICSW, LPCC) to join our community of psychotherapists. Part-time is between 10-15 hours per week.
Consider applying if you are a licensed therapist who values independence, flexibility, and the financial benefit of working in a supportive private practice while someone else manages the complex business side of credentialing, claim-filing, and marketing.
Requirements for licensed therapists:
