Therapy & Counseling Services in Minnesota

We value diverse therapy offerings and ensure our clinicians are trained to assist clients with a wide array of needs.

At LMHC we offer individual, couple, family, and group therapy to address a broad range of issues, using many different therapeutic approaches and techniques.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes referred to as talk therapy, psychotherapy or counseling, is the process of working one-on-one with a licensed clinician. Therapy can offer a safe, secure, non-judgemental, confidential environment to address emotional, mental, or behavioral issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma through personalized treatment plans, coping skills development, and improved self-awareness.

How to Start Therapy

Flexibility is our priority. We offer day, evening, and weekend appointments with licensed therapists in Minnesota, both telehealth/virtual and in person.

1

Schedule an appointment with one of these options.

2

Complete intake paperwork.

  • Once an appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email to create your client portal. The portal will give you access to all of the initial paperwork. You can easily complete paperwork online before an appointment.

  • If you are not comfortable completing paperwork/intake forms online, you may request paperwork in person before your first appointment.

  • All intake paperwork must be completed before your first appointment.

  • When you submit paperwork online, the admin team is often able to help verify insurance benefits in advance of your first appointment.

3

Attend your first therapy session.

  • In-person: Arrive for your first session. You will enter a waiting room and see a bank of light switches with the names of all of the providers. Flip the switch of your specific provider to let them know that you are here. If you require admin support, switch the Reception light switch.

  • Telehealth/Virtual: You will receive an email with a link to the virtual appointment.
