Lauren Callis is a licensed professional clinical counselor and registered art therapist who works with individuals and couples, ages eight through adulthood. Although Lauren works with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds, she especially enjoys engaging with clients who are interested in using art as an avenue to explore diagnosis, treatment of symptoms, and to tell their stories.
Lauren approaches therapy from a client-centered lens that combines techniques within art and narrative therapy to support clients. Lauren also uses motivational interviewing to help clients achieve their treatment goals. Her goal is to collaboratively find a path within treatment that supports clients management of symptoms, relationships, and promotes a deeper sense of self.
