Esther Vogelzang is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness. She also works with individuals 18 years and older who struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, PTSD, and substance abuse disorder. Esther has experience in the areas of trauma, developmental and intellectual delays, life transitions, domestic violence, grief and loss, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Esther’s integrative approach utilizes DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. She approaches therapy from a strength base, person, and solution focus. She is committed to meeting each client where they are at and joining with them on their journey. Esther has been working in the mental health field for more than ten years providing outpatient, day treatment and rehabilitative services. She has a long-standing relationship with the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota and used to actively volunteer as a parent assisting new and expecting parents.
