Nancy Joseph-Goldfarb, MSW, LICSW

Nancy Joseph-Goldfarb is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has worked with adults and adolescents in community health and in private practice. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges and life changes.  She works collaboratively with clients to create a therapy plan that fits their values, goals, and lived experiences.

 

Nancy uses an integrated approach that combines elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, trauma-focused therapies and mindfulness.  Nancy has specialized training in EMDR, a trauma therapy that helps people address the emotional and cognitive impacts of trauma. 

 

Nancy brings over 25 years as a teacher to her therapy practice. She has experience helping teens and parents navigate educational and mental health systems.  She has additional experience as a social worker with wide-ranging  knowledge of community resources and services.
