Kristen Orazem, MSW LICSW
Kristen is a licensed independent clinical social worker with experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She has worked in various settings including in-home, school-based, and a community mental health setting. Kristen approaches her practice by building strong therapeutic relationships through humor, validation, and open-ended questions to help discover, reflect, and understand. Theoretical and therapeutic approaches draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, trauma therapy, synergystic play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family systems theory. Areas of specialty include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, relationship and/or family conflict, gender identity, grief and loss, life transitions, and trauma and stressor disorders.
