Jennifer Laska
LPCC, MA

Jennifer Laska, LPCC, is a dedicated mental health counselor who is passionate about helping individuals and families build on their core values, strengths and gratitude. With a warm, client centered approach, Jennifer places great importance on the therapeutic relationship, creating a respectful, non-judgmental, and compassionate space where clients feel safe and supported. Her work is grounded in clear communication and a strong belief in a client’s capacity for growth and healing.
Jennifer began her career in community mental health, where she spent eight years working across pediatric offices, middle schools and high schools. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by children, adolescents, and families, and helped shape her inclusive, strengths-based approach to care. Her commitment to accessible and empathetic support is a hallmark of her practice.
For the past six years, Jennifer has worked in private practice in Washington State, providing therapy services to military members, veterans, and their families. This work has deepened her understanding of trauma, resilience, and the complex emotional landscape of those who serve. Her clients consistently value her thoughtful presence and the trust she builds through her compassionate, steady guidance.
When she is not in the therapy room, Jennifer enjoys, reconnecting with nature through hiking, surfing and paddleboarding. These activities reflect her belief in balance, self-care and the healing power of being present in the moment-values she also brings into her work with clients.
