Corrie Merten, MA, LMFT

Corrie Merten is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 12 years of providing therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has worked across a spectrum of settings that include community mental health, educational institutions, non-profits, and private practice. 

Corrie tailors therapy to suit a client’s individual needs, utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Her therapeutic style is warm,  empathic, and encouraging. She believes that change happens through connection,  acceptance, safety, and belonging. 

Corrie’s areas of interest include women’s issues, relationship/couples therapy, highly sensitive people (HSP), anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and loss. Corrie enjoys working with people across the lifespan, children through older adults.
