Emily Lewandowski is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a comprehensive and varied history of practice in community non-profits, government, schools, treatment centers, and the private sector. Emily encompasses empathy, a spirit of collaboration and empowerment, and a skill set rooted in various therapeutic models and theory. Utilizing a trauma and feminist theory lens, she often incorporates elements of Narrative, Internal Family Systems, Systemic, and Dialectical Behavioral therapies, somatic and mindfulness practices, and art-based interventions when working with clients, adolescent to adult. Emily has worked extensively with trauma-survivors and interests also include female-identifying persons diagnosed with ADHD and family therapy/parent coaching. Holding space and exuding warmth, she collaborates with clients to explore concerns around shame, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief. Emily believes therapy is a partnership in which reflection, processing, and cultivating increased self-awareness can lead to growth, lasting healing, and contentment. She feels honored to accompany persons on their therapeutic journey.
